The quote above is really only partially true. The Invictas are only 99% accurate copies of Rolex, Chanel, Omega, Corum and other famous brands. These companies have had the blueprints for decades, which means that they have had the opportunity to perfect said blueprints. Now Invicta has taken the opportunity to potentially cash in on an already developed design.
Places such as ShopNBC have had these watches for about a year. Recently ShopNBC showcased what looked like a Rolex Yachtmasters, Chanel Ceramic J12’s and Corum Bubble watches amongst others. It’s amazing how ShopNBC can spend so much time talking about the Invicta watches; the time and the quality of the movement with out giving credit where credit is due or at least saying they received design inspiration from major brands such as the Rolex Submariner. The average consumer may not know the origin of the design or may even believe it is an original by Invicta. Other replicas are expressing the genesis of their designs when they are presented.
Invicta’s have quartz, Miyota mechanical or Swiss ETA movements. These movements are featured in all replica watches. Comparison of an Invicta, Rolex and replica Rolex will show minor differences. Many of these differences can only be seen if the piece is opened and the mechanics are examined. The price differences for the Rolex Replicas are based on the quality from the 21 jewel Miyota movements, which also happens to be what Invicta uses for their low-end models as opposed to the higher prices that are set for the pieces that use Swiss ETA movements. The benefit of Invicta being a large company is that they can offer more competitive prices in comparison to the Swiss Rolex replicas and complies with all legal requirements. However, the quality of the Swiss Rolex replica rivals that of the Invicta. The watches that have the Miyota movements are equally as competitive with the Invictas as well.
If a person’s budget allows for such a purchase as that of a genuine Rolex then it is most certainly worth purchasing. There are many options available for purchasing a Rolex from a pre-owned model at a jewelry store to stores that specialize with Rolex’s. However, if it is not possible to purchase a genuine Rolex in the foreseeable future then it may be a wiser decision to purchase a Rolex replica over that of the Invicta. The Rolex replicas have all of the characteristics that a genuine Rolex has. This can certainly make it very difficult for the common person to be able to tell the difference. An added benefit is that some of the replicas are waterproof.
